Nancy is a professional voice over artist whose voice is as recognizable as her face. She’s best known in the Chicago area for her 13 years as an anchor and reporter at Fox’s WFLD-TV.
Throughout her broadcast career, Nancy has been recognized for her superb diction, vocal control, and modulation. she has the innate ability to communicate compassion, warmth, and humor and regularly recorded station promos and public service announcements at WFLD. Her on-air assignments also required that she write and deliver news updates for Chicago’s WTMX and WGCI radio stations.
After leaving FOX in September of 2010, Nancy was free to pursue her passion in the voice over industry, and recently narrated a documentary about the importance of collaboration in addressing the world’s water crisis.
Among her awards for writing and reporting is a 2010 Peabody. She was a member of the FOX team cited for it’s nationally-recognized coverage of the beating death of Derrion Albert, a 16 year old High School honors student.
Nancy is also active within the Chicago community, where she finds that “giving back” and networking continue to inspire. She’s a member of the Corporate Champions board at Children’s Memorial Hospital and is often called upon to emcee local charity events.
